Wood Door With Mail Slot
Today I am veering from theme a bit. Instead featuring doors all of one color, I am featuring mail slots.
You see, I live in a neighborhood where our mailboxes are located at the end of our street instead of at the end of our individual driveways. It’s a small street with only seven houses and that’s just the way it’s always been.
Offering many types of decorative and functional mail slots and mailboxes including double flap mail slots, single flap mail slots, reproduction, restoration, stainless steel and hollow door sleeves. Wood Breadboards, Cutting Boards and Accessories. Brass Accents Stainless Steel Magazine Size Mail Slot Sleeve for 1-3/4' Thick Doors. Door Mail Slots Add a touch of style to your entry and discourage mail theft with a classic mail slot from Van Dykes. Mail slots come in popular metal finishes to match your door hardware in several widths and lengths.
I hate it.
As you can imagine, on those evening when you realize at 9pm you never got the mail, instead of being able to skip down the driveway and grab it, I have to trudge down the street.
It bugs me, but what am I going to do?
As a result, one thing that always fascinates me are people who get their mail delivered right through their front door. You know, those mail slots built right into the door…
I love those!
I am going to suspend reality for a moment and not think about the fact that my dog Edgar would go absolutely berserk every time the our Mail Carrier put mail in and I am not going to mention how much the perceived energy loss through the mail opening would cause my husband to complain incessantly… …for now I am just going to showcase lovely doors with mailbox slots.
Enjoy!
